If i want to read a book of an ex J.W, i can read the post history of many posters here. And a good poster make great reading because if they dont have the stuff to back up what they say, they are challenged by other posters.

Very funny lol.

actually i have wounderd about the name myself, but never thought to question it. The site owner ( his name is Simon) has always seemed worthy of respect.

Why would i call a site a " Discussipn board for Jehovers Witnesees? " i guess if i started a site when the internet was new and i was trying to awaken J.Ws to the truth, i night have chosen such a name.

Whatever the reason, does ot bother you? and if so why?

Would YOU force blood on a Witness?

i was recently chastised here for saying that i respected my wife's steadfast loyalty to her god.

suppose you were a medical assistant and your doctor/supervisor told you to hang blood on a witness patient?

zero respect?.

My sons a vegitarian and i respect and admire his conviction...how much would i respect his conviction if his life was dependent on taking blood against his will? ( his age immaterial) ..thats a hard hypothetical question. I guess if its against his will i would hope its something we would have discussed prior to having to make such a decision.

Choices...

quick little moment of reflection i experienced today:.

i had a buddy back in high school whose younger brother was an acquaintance of mine, we weren't ever really friends but the times we interacted he was alright.. for all intents and purposes we'll call this guy "smitty.".

smitty was an all star jw, super zealous on service, mr. go-to for anything spiritual, completely a johnny-on-the-spot in his congregation, and honestly a person i saw a lot of potential in for the future with the "truth" and life in general.. after i graduated high school i lost touch with his brother and about 3 years later heard a story on the news where his name popped up.

Sorry if this sounds silly. Maybe his innocent? maybe he was easily influenced...with out the Why i wouldnt jugde? maybe his worth a letter?

i would much rather read articles on actually applying bible princples and have a real christ-like personality.

why don't they realize that how they fixate on "the end" is in direct conflict with that scripture?.

24:14 was repeated into my head thousands of times while growing up as if it was the only good news (gospel).

Kurt that picture looks just like " Steve Railsback" one of the most underated actors of all time. Railsback also stared in " The stuntman" with Peter O,Toole which was a brilliant but very underated fil
